It has been A WEEK. I don’t really feel like writing anything but I signed up for this and I’ve allowed myself to be derailed too many times. This won’t be a long post. Just a heads up about the challenge this week. If you are like me, and everyone I have even mentioned this to, you will groan once you hear what it is. But, the whole point is ultimately to make you feel better. Doesn’t that sound like something we can all agree we need right now?
Here’s your homework: take a deep breath, say another prayer, have a glass of wine, eat the mac and cheese, do whatever you are doing to cope with all the emotions right now, and start thinking about what you like about yourself. That’s our first challenge of the year: Make a list of 10 things you like about yourself (then read it whenever you are feeling down.)
